We are Stone’s Children

The Fine Art Society in Bond Street has an exhibition during September of the work of the British Sculptor Emily Young. Her stunning work takes the characteristics of natural stone and draws them into human figures; stone and humanity combined into a living sculpture.

She describes her work: “I salute the stone as one of the great pre-existing earth materials, one which holds our mother planet together; an ancestor, and a major part of that which will outlive us”.
