Goodbye to paintbrushes and canvases.  Art today can be created from anything, including of course digital media.  Perhaps this reflects how children create things from all sorts of objects they find lying around and how prehistoric man created art from everyday objects that he or she could find such as stones, clay, wood and bones from animals. 

Six international artists at Rosenfield Porcini, with its gallery windows opening onto two streets in Fitrovia, have combined a variety of non-traditional materials including glass, paper, copper pipe, fabric, rope, timber and even old engine parts in their three dimensional sculptural works – American artist Leonardo Drew, Japanese artist Keita Miyazaki, Brazilian artist Tulio Pinto, Italian artist Alice Cattaneo and British artists Jane Bustin and Felicity Hammond.  Some of the resulting works are measured, calm and serene; others bursting with colour or blasting out from the wall, all using different materials in different ways to create something new and innovative.
