Two female artists – two dinner tables, one a glittering crystalline table of dreams by the Pakistani artist Sara Shakeel, of creativity and of family dinners, the other smaller table full of graphics, part of a story about travelling between Russia and Europe and the USA in the west.
Russian artist Victoria Lomasko’s graphic black and white table is at the heart of her exhibition with the walls around covered in murals which also display an graphics as if from an animated novel about travelling between the two cultures, about the perception and the reality of life in the two countries and about the differences between them, where in many way there are more similarities than might be first realised.
A fascinating exhibition as you follow Lomasko’s story told through her graphics.
